Questions families ask
How do we find the right level?
Book a placement visit. A swimmer gets in the water with an instructor for a short while, and the instructor suggests a level and the classes with room.
What does a level mean?
A level is a short list of skills with a cap color and an age range. Ages are a guide, the placement visit decides where to start, and the instructor decides when a swimmer moves up.
How long is a class?
Bubbles and steps and Floats are half an hour. Kicking and gliding, Arms and breathing and Distance and technique are forty-five minutes. A session runs eight weeks.
What do we bring and wear?
A swimsuit or a swim shirt, a cap in the level's color, a big towel, and goggles if your swimmer likes them. For the walk out, a hat and a warm coat.
Where do parents sit?
Through the lobby window or from the bench at the edge of the deck. A parent or guardian stays on site during every class.
Who is in the water with my child?
An instructor is in the water or on the step beside every swimmer. The number of swimmers each instructor has in each level is on the safety page.
What if a class is missed?
Tell us by text or at the desk. A class missed for illness or a closure is made up in the same session, on a day when there is room in the level.
What if the roads or the pool close?
We text families by early afternoon, and a class missed for a closure is made up in the same session.
How does tuition work?
It depends on the level, the class length and the classes a week. The how tuition works page explains each part, and the enrollment page shows our figures.
How do we start?
Book a placement visit on our enrollment page, or call the front desk and we will find a time.
