How tuition works

Our current figures are on the enrollment page, and we are glad to talk them through by phone. Here is what sets tuition and what each part is for.

  • What sets tuition

Tuition depends on the level, the length of the class and how many classes a week a swimmer takes. Bubbles and steps and Floats are half an hour; the other three levels are forty-five minutes. A session runs eight weeks, and the enrollment page shows our figures for the session.

    • The level and the class length

    • Classes a week

    • Weeks in the session

  • Registration

A yearly registration covers your swimmer's file, the placement visit and your place at the school. It is due when you register for the first session, and it comes once a year.

    • The swimmer's file

    • The placement visit

  • Holding a place

The first month of tuition holds a place in a class. When a class is full we keep a waitlist, offer places in the order families asked, and call or text the same day a place opens. If a swimmer moves up a level, the place moves with them.

  • Billing

Tuition is billed monthly or once for the session, your choice at registration, with autopay if you like. The enrollment page explains the months that hold five weeks of classes.

  • Help with tuition

Ask us whether assistance is open this month. We will tell you how to ask and who reads the request, and we keep it between us and the family.

  • Siblings

A second swimmer in the family is handled differently from the first. Ask at registration, or call the front desk, and we will explain how it works for your family.

  • Missed classes and make-ups

A class missed for illness or for a closure is made up in the same session, on a day when there is room in the level. Tell us as early as you can, by text or at the desk, and we will find the day.

  • Caps, goggles and a swim shirt

A cap in the level's color, goggles and a swim shirt are the extras. The school can supply a cap; goggles and a swim shirt come from home, and neither is required. Nothing else is bought at the pool.

    • A cap in the level's color

    • Goggles, if your swimmer likes them

    • A swim shirt, which is welcome in every class
