Your first visit
From the car to the water in three steps
A placement visit is a short time in the water with an instructor, so we can suggest a level before the first class.
- 01
Step 1: Pick a time
Choose a time on our enrollment page, or call the front desk. Tell us your swimmer's age and the level you think fits, or that you are not sure yet.
- 02
Step 2: Walk in with an instructor
Your swimmer walks in by the steps with the instructor beside them while you watch through the lobby window. We go at your swimmer's pace.
- 03
Step 3: Leave with a cap color
The instructor suggests a level and its cap color, and we show you the classes that have room.

What the instructor watches for
Nobody passes or fails a placement visit. The instructor watches how a swimmer walks in, floats with support, kicks and feels about getting the face wet, then suggests the level where the first class will fit.
Bring a big towel, and a hat and coat for the walk out
A swimsuit or a swim shirt
Goggles, if your swimmer likes them; we will lend a cap

Come and see the pool
Book a time and we will meet you at the front desk.
